This is pretty freakin' cool. Hats off to these guys for melding two super-sweet "toys" into one dominating bowling machine. Well done guys, well done..

From DIGG: In a press release sent out today, GameSpy has announced it will provide "multiplayer technology" to publishers developing games for the Wii. The middleware allows the same online functionality found in DS games but will include friend rosters, matchmaking, and ranking data similar to Xbox Live.

No ground-breaking news here, I am just quite thrilled that my original "dream car" made it this long. It was the #1 item on my list of items to buy once I landed a real job. Sadly, I didn't wait long (less than a month after being hired) before I raced to the dealer and ended up signing up for a nasty 13% 5-year auto loan. Ah, isn't youth wonderful!?!

It really has been a great car though. We have driven that thing all over the eastern half of our country with hardly a hiccup. The beach, Metallica concerts all over the place, Steelers games, and even the Hospital to bring our first child home. Each one of those trips brings back fond memories of me and my mamma cruising down some highway listening to music turned up way too loud. It will probably be a while before we can do that again, now that we are proud parents and minivan owners. Let's just hope it lasts long enough for us to pay off that shiny new minivan. Here is to 100,000 more wonderful miles!!!

Carrie Fisher's portrayal of Princess Leia topped a recent Maxim.com Hit List for Hottest Comic Book/Sci Fi Character. The poll conducted by the men's magazine in February, named Fisher above Gillian Anderson's "Dana Scully" character as well as The Matrix's Carrie Ann Moss (Trinity).

The list rounded out with Grace Park (Battlestar Galactica) in fourth, Lara Croft (Tomb Raider), fifth; Famke Janssen (X-Men), sixth; Jeri Ryan (Star Trek: Voyager), seventh; Aeon Flux, eighth; Jennifer Garner (Alias), ninth; and Natasha Henstridge (Species).

After a quick bubble-sort (sorry for the bad programming joke) in my databanks, I would rank the top 3 like this:
1. Princess Leia (duh again)
2. Jennifer Garner (Alias/DareDevil)
3. Trinity

You can keep the rest. I am happy with those three.
