Yahoo! News - Exclusive: NASA Researchers Claim Evidence of Present Life on Mars
Can I go? Pretty please?
So, in reading this, I noticed a bit of funny wording. The NASA folks talk about how excited they are to have a lead on finding organisms that can live in such and "extreme environment". Isn't Mars normal for them, and wouldn't Earth be considered "extreme"? So is anything that is not 72 degrees with our exact atmospheric composition considered "extreme" now? I guess it is just another sad example of how we tend to think that the universe revolves around our meaningless exisence. I expected more from those guys at NASA...
