Slashdot Microbes Alive After Being Frozen for 32,000 Years
This slashdot post is pretty exciting given my previous few posts about some of the discoveries on Mars. As noted earlier, scientists appear to have found a frozen chunk of water on Mars. So, do we really want to start unleashing previously "extinct" organisms? Aren't there some end of the earth type sci-fi movies that warn against that? Oh well, I guess this time had to come sometime. At least all of those "crazy" sci-fi authors might have been on to something...
